On Friday 29th June 2012, as part of their “Jubilee Hour” project a group of officers from Wakefield police spent an hour in the rain clearing litter from Thornes Park.
The work was organised by the Friends of CHaT Parks with the aim of showing the police’s commitment to supporting the community.
