It’s the time of the year when the membership of the Friends of CHaT Parks is up for renewal. Just about all of our money-raising events had to be cancelled last year and this year is still not looking very good from that point of view, so we are relying even more than usual on membership subscriptions to fund our activities. One of our biggest outgoings, the planting of the flower beds near the Rose Garden, is under way. We have ordered the flower plugs for delivery in March and we have the compost and flower pots standing ready for use. The Family Services people are also ready to start work as soon as the plugs arrive. If you would like to join the Friends it costs £5 for a single membership and £10 for a family membership.
