The working party arranged for Tuesday January 12th has now been cancelled due to the need to strengthen the Covid precautions. –

The Friends are going to have a working party in the Park next Tuesday (Jan 12th) and have three tasks lined up;
1. Planting roses in one of the beds in the Rose Garden
2. Weeding some of the other beds in the Rose Garden
3. Litter picking
We will be able to maintain social distancing by only having about 5 or 6 planting the roses and the rest working on tasks 2 and 3 and I am sure this counts as permitted exercise
I hope we can start at 10.30 on the rose beds, and we will be there until 2.00 so any time you can spare during that period will be very welcome.
As well as the litter picking equipment, we will have a selection of garden tools available, but feel free to bring along your favourite fork or hoe. Stout footwear and gardening gloves would be useful.
